Pam Brosnan’s survived many adversities in her 52 years; and while it wasn’t always clear at the time she now realises that each and every one of them taught her a valuable lesson - that no matter how dark it seems at the time, there’s always a shining light at the end of the tunnel. 

Pam’s a mentor, author and speaker with a crazy heritage - born in Canada with a Jamaican mother, English father and Spanish Grandmother, at 8 years old she migrated to New Zealand until she was 18, when she got on a plane with only $500 for what she describes as “the adventure of a lifetime to Australia”.

Sadly, in my first year, everything went pear shaped including losing my million dollar home, my millionaire attitude and falling into deep depression for almost 4 years. It was for the love of my son plus, my previous successes in my corporate career, that I snapped out of my self-pity party got back out there and had another crack.

I sold my little red brick unit, invested in my education, went on a Millionaire Cruise with 100 other entrepreneurs and launched a brand new business with my husband. Six weeks after launching that business we had our first $70,000 day, and we’ve never looked back.

Despite the spiritually amazing time Pam had spending 7 days with Sir Richard Branson on her 50th birthday with 30 other brilliantly amazing millionaires and billionaires -  an experience that has led her to the path she’s on today; Pam still reflects on the birth of her son as one of the proudest moments of her life, “Unfortunately I couldn’t have any more children, so he’s definitely a strong reason ‘Why’ I do what I do”

My last 10 years as an entrepreneur has definitely been a roller coaster ride that is for sure. And to be honest, being an entrepreneur is definitely not for the faint hearted. But I would not change my life for anything. 

If there’s one thing I learned it’s that “success is a journey” and while it sounds cliche, I came to learn that ‘everyone has their own life lessons to learn and that will instil the wisdom we need to make us the amazing person we were born to be’.

As someone who strives to make a big impact, I used to put a lot of pressure on myself to succeed - unfortunately that comes with measuring my success against others and trying to live their success story instead of my own.

These days I look for a solution knowing that with every down, there’s something amazing just around the corner; and by striving to be better today than I was yesterday, I believe we have everything we need to “be elite and exceed expectations”.

When I look back on my life, it was clear that my mother was a major source of inspiration. Her struggles made me want to help more women to have the financial freedom to achieve their dreams. This inevitably, has led me to be the best role model I can.

I want to show others what’s possible when you believe in YOU and you’re prepared to do whatever it takes to get to your own success summit - whatever that may be.
